We have Four Key Steps that make up the mission of New Village Foundation, all of which feed into and support each other.

Supporting our mission in any one of these areas makes a difference in equipping others for self-sufficiency and transforms communities!

EQUIPPING

Helping those who have suffered trauma and need help/healing before they begin their education and career path, through counseling or other mental health support, chemical dependency rehabilitation, etc.

SCHOLARSHIPS

These funds enable individuals to attend New Village Institute to earn a diploma in Automotive or Diesel Technology and begin a life-sustaining career.

TRANSPORTATION

These funds are used to secure, repair, and refurbish vehicles to assist graduates in transportation to their new jobs. Many of these vehicles are donated and repaired/refurbished as part of the hands-on learning at NVI Institute of Technology

HOUSING

These funds are used to secure and in some cases construct affordable housing in areas where it is not available, providing transitional and permanent housing for graduates and enriching the local community.

SCHOLARSHIPS CHANGE LIVES

"Give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." A one-time or annual donation gives a future NVI/NVF graduate a fish: it is important, and it solves a near-term problem.

The gift of a scholarship teaches them to fish, resulting in self-sufficiency and a permanent solution for their family/community:

The student gets equipped, trained, and placed in an advancing career.
The local community's economy grows and society becomes more functional

1600 scholarships will generate more than $88 million in annual incomes: each dollar earned circulates 8x in the local community, for a total economic impact of $704 million per year, or $28 billion over a 40-year career. A one-time investment in a student scholarship is multiplied 587x in their life and local community!
